Film News on 4th May 2012

On May 3rd 2012, Indian Cinema reached its 100th year in the race of world cinema. 

The first film Raja Harishchandra  Indian cinema saw a lot of changes according to the Indian Film Audience.




First film was released in the year 03.05.1913(May 3rd, 1913). It was a silent movie directed by Dadasaheb Phalke. He laid the foundation stone in Indian Film Industry. 

Next after 18 years later director   Ardeshir Irani introduced talkies in Indian Cinema - Kisan Kanya. It was the first talkies in the Indian Cinema Alam Ara, 1931. 


It was the first majestic movie to be released and it also set up the trend of friday release in India. After 6 years later director Moti B. Gidvani made the first Indian Colour Cinema -Kisan Kanya, 1937. 

Towards to the World Cinema discuss and screening Indian Cinema made its first impression by Pather Panchali, 1955. 



The film was directed by Satyjeet Ray. It had a great reputation from the world cinema audience.

The first 70MM film was Sholay released in the year 1975. 




The film was directed by the Ramesh Sippy. It was a great movie in the period of Indian Cinema even now. 

Chota Chetan was the first 3D movie directed by Jijo Punnoose1984. The film is made on the theme of magic magic. 






It was targeted towards the children's (audience), but it also attracted by the elder one's. It is because of the difference seen through the screen in the means 3rd Dimension view.
